Melissa M. Williams will be the guest author at the Fort Bend ISD "Sugar Mills Elementary School Literacy Night", tonight January 19th, 2010.
Melissa will be talking to the students and parents about her series Iggy the Iguana in efforts to inspire the student's creativity. Melissa will be sharing the story of how her own inspiration came from her childhood memories with her pet iguana, named Iggy.
Melissa will be signing books and visiting with the students after her presentation. This will be her first school visit to kick off 2010 school book tour! Melissa and Iggy the Iguana have visited over 100 schools, churches and organization since the release of her Iggy the Iguana series in August 2008.
